LinkedIn is a powerful free tool that can be used to network and find professional opportunities. Topics will include: polishing up your profile, improving your “findability” with key words, using LinkedIn groups, inviting and contacting other users, and more. Prerequisite: if you don’t have a LinkedIn account, please visit www.Linkedin.com, establish a user name and password and bring that information to class.

Wednesday, April 6, Noon
Fairfield Library’s tech guru, Merry Uk will be hosting an overview and demonstration of Twitter during the lunch hour on April 6th. She will explain tweeting, how to follow other users’ tweets, restricting messages to your Friend’s lists, and more. Learn how Twitter’s rich source of instantly updated information can connect you to individuals and businesses. A 20-minute Twitter overview will be followed by Q &A of your tech questions—on any topic.
