Grease Lightning! POSTPONED DUE TO WEATHER UNTIL JULY 25

You don’t have to be Sandra Dee to get into the Westport Cinema Initiative’s sing-a-long Grease experience. The movie will run in all its 70’s celluloid glory on Monday, July 18 at the Levitt Pavilion. Bring a blanket and your flounciest poodle skirt, and get your groove on to the hippest tunes of your childhood at this community event. It’s free, but donations will be accepted to support and promote the Westport Cinema Initiative’s activities, which include building an independent movie theater in Westport.
Don’t miss the pre-show sock-hopping fun, which includes ‘50’s standards, sung by local band KinkSlip.
And of course, popcorn and cotton candy will be available.
