Santa Visits Fairfield

Get ready!  Santa Claus is coming to town to kick off the holiday season in Fairfield.

The Fairfield Fire Department will will escort him by hook and ladder to Sherman Green, where he will meet the kids and take their holiday requests.

Local organizations also be on the town green selling food, crafts and holiday-appropriate wares, plus there will be horse and buggy rides, a petting zoo and more.

Date: Saturday, November 26

Time: 10 AM to 2:30 PM

Where: Sherman Town Green at the Gazebo

Kids looking to further secure their spot on Santa’s “Nice List” can do so right in front of the jolly man himself this year. During his visit on the green, the Junior League of Eastern Fairfield County will hold a book drive collecting new and gently-used children’s books for its Leaguers Building Readers program, which is hoping to collect over 4,000 books this year. The books will be collected at the JLEFC’s table, which will also have make-your-own book marks and ornaments for kids to create and take home to keep or give as gifts.
