Junior Women's Club Membership Drive Dinner
Monday, August 13, 2007
Consider "Back to School" a clean slate for adults as well.
Now's the time to sign up for all the stuff you always meant to do.
The Junior Women's Club of Fairfield is hosting a summer membership drive. Join the JWC for Wednesday, August 15 at 7 PM at 660 Jennings Road for dinner, drinks and discussion about what the organization is all about
This group of women from Fairfield and Easton produces many of the town's most popular events, including "A Visit to Santa's House", Halloween on the Green and the Town Spelling Bee.
On September 16, the Junior Women's Club will relocate their annual Arts and Crafts Festival to the Town Hall Green alongside the grand opening festivities for the new Fairfield Museum and History Center.
This spring, the club formed a year-long partnership with Mercy Learning Center, an amazing educational resource for women in Bridgeport. In addition to monetary donations, the club will contribute their time to the Center through various projects including household supply and clothing drives, tutoring and hands-on lifestyle workshops.
