You don't have to be a jazz aficionado to enjoy this jazz festival. What you do need is the desire to get away for a lazy summer day, to beautiful Newport, RI. Bring the whole family, it's kid friendly. Be sure you've got a blanket and picnic, the jazz will take care of the rest.

Here's the lineup:
The 2008 JVC Jazz Festival  Newport will kick off on Friday, August 8th, with an evening concert at the International Tennis Hall of Fame at the Newport Casino; followed by two full days of great jazz on three stages at historic Fort Adams State Park on August 9th and 10th.
