Fall at the Audubon
We are so lucky to have the Connecticut Audubon Society's Center at Fairfield and the The Birdcraft Museum and Nature Center in our town.  Take advantage of some of the terrific programs they offer to kids of all ages this fall.  Here are two of our favorites:

Young Biologists Program At Connecticut Audubon Society's Center at Fairfield
Explore the world outside the Center's backdoor. This fall come net for insects in the field, stomp through the stream, go mucking in the pond, and searching high and low for creatures hiding in the forest. You'll search the sanctuary for clues, create experiments, and study the Center's education animals to discover more about what animals are doing as the seasons switch. Advance registration required. For children in grades 3-5.  Classes are Fridays from 4-5 PM.
Sept. 19-Nov. 7. (NO class Oct. 24 and Oct. 31)

Single program fee: $12 Connecticut Audubon Society Members; $16 Non-members.
6-program series fee: $66 Connecticut Audubon Society Members; $90 Non-members.

Nature Nursery
Discover what's happening in, under and around the pond during fall. Many animals rely on our pond for food, shelter and a drink. Discover different ways animals and plants change with the seasons. Enjoy an outdoor exploration, museum visit or live animal presentation, stories, and a craft to do together. Please wear appropriate outdoor attire and footwear. Advance registration required.
