The Fairfield PTA Council has arranged for a presentation by RYASAP (Regional Youth Adult Substance Abuse Project) of its findings of the resources available to the youth of our community and their views on various issues including the use of drugs and alcohol.
The findings are based on a random sample of students in grades 7-12 in our public schools. Other school districts included in this report are Bridgeport, Monroe, Stratford and Trumbull. The report is valuable to parents with children in all grade levels. The presentation will be made by Robert Francis, Exec Director, RYASAP. There will be a Q&A session.
What: Do You Know About the Substance Abuse in Our Middle and High Schools?

Where: Roger Ludlowe Middle School Auditorium
Suzy reminder: This is a presentation for parents of students of all grade-levels. Although the survey was done in 6 towns, Fairfield students fared the worst in several categories regarding our students' behavior related to alcohol use.
