If you're a new mom of a pre-crawler looking for advice, friendship and support, the Fairfield Park and Recreation Department is hosting a New Mother's Support Group for first-time mom's to discuss topics related to being a new mom. It's an open forum to discuss and receive advice on sleeping, eating, scheduling and developmental milestones (and meet some new galpals while you're at it).
The sessions are facilitated by by Debbie Portnay, LCSW Clinical Social Worker And Jennifer Weinstein, M.S. Ed., P.D. School Psychologist and held Thursdays from 10 - 11:30 AM. A new group start February 7th and runs through March 20th at the Rec Center. Cost: $165 For more information: www.fairfieldrecreation.com
Also, Dr. Amy Weinrib at Pediatric Healthcare offers a New Mother's Group for their patients. The next session is Wednesday, February 13th. Please call 452-8322 to register or with questions. This is a Free service offered by the practice open to mother's of pre-crawling babies who are patients of Pediatric Healthcare.
