Have you ever noticed how many names there are for "slime"? Do you know the difference between slime, gunk and flubber? Slime is just plain slimey. Gunk is like slime, except not as wet and gooey. Flubber is more elastic and even drier. Here's a recipe to make your own Flubber, it was the hit of a local Elementary School Science Fair.
Container 1 (4 Cup Capacity)
1 1/2 cups warm water
2 cups white glue
food coloring (a few drops, your choice of color)
Container 2
1 1/3 cups warm water
3 teaspoons Borax
Pour container 2 into container 1. Gently lift and turn the mixture until only about a tablespoon of liquid is left. The Flubber will be sticky for a moment or two. Let the excess liquid drip off and the Flubber will be ready!
