PrepMe for the SAT
Get a Head Start on SAT Prep at the Fairfield Public Library!  The next SAT is scheduled for October 6 " just ten weeks away! Parents and students are invited to spend an hour learning about a new SAT service PrepMe.com on Thursday, August 2 at 7 PM in the Rotary Room at the Main Library. A demonstration showing you how to use the database and a question and answer period following will be provided.

PrepMe.com is an online database designed for students preparing for the SAT being offered to Fairfield students FREE through the library. It's an intensive diagnostic SAT prep service students can access from any computer with a current Fairfield Library card number. Just go to the Library"s website www.fairfieldpubliclibrary.org

PrepMe.com recommends that each student plan to use the program for ten weeks leading up to the SAT test. Students take a series of diagnostic tests and from the results of the test they are provided with a customized schedule of exercises and tests designed to significantly improve their comprehension.

Rick Bolton, a member of PrepMe"s Board of Directors, will host the free information session that will demonstrate how the program works and offer extensive advice on SAT test prep and the college admissions process.

Call the Fairfield Main Library 256-3155 or access the website www.fairfieldpubliclibrary.org to register for this program.
