Looking for a way to beat the heat? Head to the Sprinkler Park on Morehouse Highway at Lake Mohegan. Timed water spouts on at Fairfields Lake Mohegan will keep kids cool and full of laughs.
This town gem has a life-guarded swimming hole plus sprinkler park with a short-order snack bar, an outdoor shower, a playground and nearby beach where dogs are allowed to run without a leash.
Lifeguards on duty from 11 AM - 5 PM Weekends only from May 26 - June 17 and everyday from 10 AM - 6 PM starting June 18 through August 19.
A day pass for residents costs $6 on weekdays, $8 on weekends; for nonresidents, its $15 and $18, respectively (Season pass also available. Must request it on annual Town Beach Sticker Permit Application.)
