Wakeman's Summer Camp Openings

Wakeman Boys & Girls Club has openings in the following summer camp programs. Sign the kids up today.
ARTS & CRAFTS CAMP GRADES 1-2 GRADE $110
Come on down and put your imagination to work! Small camper/instructor ratio of 6:1. All supplies included in fee. A short playground/snack break is scheduled each day. Two different camps will be held July 14th-18th, & August 4th-8th both will be from 12:30-3:30 in the afternoon.
BASEBALL/BASKETBALL 3-4 GRADE $110
This combination Baseball and Basketball Camp will focus on fundamental skill development in a fun environment led by Fairfield Prep Basketball coach and Fairfield Legion Baseball coach Rich Lee. Campers will learn to apply those skills in game situations for both sports. They will enjoy some fun contests and learn the proper mindset for young athletes to prepare themselves for playing multiple sports. This is a great opportunity for members to improve their skills at these two wonderful sports. Camp will be held July 28th-August 1st from 12:30-3:30.
COED BASKETBALL 2ND GRADE $110
This instructional basketball camp for members in 2nd grade will help the develop the basic skills and knowledge that they can take with them throughout their entire basketball careers. This is a great opportunity to prepare them for Wakeman Pee Wee League. Camp will be held July 28th-August 1st from 9:00-12:00.
DAY CAMP WEEK II 1ST-2ND GRADE $85
This summer Wakeman will be providing a week to remember for every child in 1st/2nd grade. The children will be broken into groups of 10-12 children with a 6:1 camper/counselor ratio. Children will participate in their favorite sport games such as: dodge ball, capture the flag, kickball, baseball and soccer. They will also participate in arts and crafts, gameroom tournaments, as well as a special event. Camp will be held June 30th- July 3rd from 9:00-12:00.

FIELD HOCKEY/LACROSSE CAMP GRADES 4th-6th GRADE $110
Two of the fastest growing sports among girls today are coming together for one of Wakeman's most popular camps. Girls of all abilities will learn and enjoy the game of field hockey and lacrosse through drills, games and contests. Players must bring their own protective eye wear and mouth guard. Lacrosse sticks and Field Hockey sticks will be made available to the first 30 girls that need to borrow one. Camp will be held August 4th-8th from 9:00-12:00.
BOYS LACROSSE CAMP GRADES 3-4/5-6 GRADES $75
The fastest growing sport rolls through to the summer. Players of all abilities are welcome to join for all the lax drills, skill competitions, contests and games that can be possibly packed into two hours! Players must bring their own equipment. Full Equipment required: helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, mouth guard and a stick.
Camps will be held for 3rd/4th Grade the week of July 28th-August 1st from 9:00-11:00.
Camp for 5th/6th Grade will be held the week of July 7th-11th from 4:00-6:00

This camp will focus on fundamental skills and gaining a greater understanding of the game of baseball. Players will be challenged through a wide variety of drills that will better prepare them for life on the diamond. Camp will always end in a game in which the players can hone the skills they learned on a specific day. Camp will be held August 4th-8th from 12:30-3:30.
