Buzz of the Week: There's Still Time to Sign the Kids Up For Camp at the Sportsplex

The Sportsplex offers a multi-sport camp for children ages 4 and up. Their camp features 9 unique venues all located under one roof in the heart of Fairfield. Campers will rotate through the Gymnastics & Cheerleading Academy, Fairfield Ice Academy, The Field House, Fairfield Fencing Academy, East Coast United Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, First Person Sports (Laser Tag), World Champion Taekwondo, Parkour & Carabiner’s Indoor climbing.
Sportsplex Camp is staffed by professional, experienced coaches and trainers. Campers will receive instruction at all of the venues listed above. The coaches’ focus on teaching campers core skills that they will carry with them throughout their lives. Some specifics that are covered are body awareness, teamwork, communication, overcoming fears, building relationships, balance, self-discipline, and strength building.
By the end of the week campers will campers gain confidence and have a sense of pride in their accomplishments by being competent in a variety of sports.
They promote an all around healthy lifestyle at the Sportsplex@Fairfield! Part of a healthy lifestyle is exercise and another huge part is what you eat. For that reason they have teamed up with Cinch Gourmet Meal Market to provide nutritious lunches for our full day campers. We also provide peanut free snacks during the day.
As you all know, Connecticut summers get very hot and humid. There is no need to worry about your kids running around and playing all day at their camp! All activities take place in the fully air conditioned state of the art Sportsplex facility.
