Encourage your kids to read all summer long by having them participate in the Children's Summer Reading Game at the Fairfield Library. It runs from June 1 through August 5, and offers children the opportunity to record their reading online, earning prizes as they reach goals of 5, 10, and 15 books read. Some of the prizes include: a pass to Quassy Amusement Park, a ticket to a Sound Tigers hockey game, an ice cream cone, and a new paperback book. Children in grades K-3 and younger that read 15 books by the end of the summer will receive a free ticket to a live performance of Aladdin at Roger Ludlowe Middle School on Thursday, August 18. Birth to 3rd Grade
Prize Level 1:
When you read 5 books, you receive a coupon for a FREE Kid's Meal at Subway and an all-day ride pass to Quassy Amusement Park!
Prize Level 2:
When you read 10 books you receive a free ticket to the Sound Tigers Hockey opening game and a free ticket to a Bridgeport Bluefish Game and $10 from TD Bank to deposit into a new or existing account! Plus the first 100 kids to read and log 10 books receive a coupon from Dairy Queen.
Prize Level 3:
When you read 15 books you receive a paperback book and a ticket to see a LIVE PERFORMANCE of Aladdin on August 18th!

The Summer Reading Program begins on June 1st and ends on Friday August 5th @ 6 p.m. Be sure to collect ALL your PRIZES on or before that date. No prizes can be awarded after August 5th! For more information, call 203-256-3161.
