Did you know that the upcoming November 3 election is important for the future of schools in Fairfield? Fairfielders will be asked to vote for four Board of Ed Candidates, three 4-year terms and one 2-year term due to a vacancy that occurred on the Board earlier this year.
It is ESSENTIAL that you get out and vote!
Learn about the candidates and their positions on the issues facing our schools during the Board of Education Candidates Forum tonight.
What: Board of Education Candidates Forum
When: October 5th at 8:15 pm
Where: Roger Ludlowe Middle School Auditorium
Hosted by the PTA Council
Scheduled to participate are Democrat Josh Albin and Republican Paul Fattibene for the 2 year term and Democrats Leonora Campbell, Perry Liu, Jennifer Maxon and Republicans Pam Iacono and Tim Kerry for the 4 year term.
The format for the evening will start with basic introductions by the candidates and a statement of their educational vision and plans should they be elected to the Board. A question and answer period moderated by PTA Council President, Charlotte Leslie and Mary Hogue, PTA Council President-Elect will follow.
