Food for the Holidays

Here's a feature none of us can ignore. If we all reach out to the Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County, even in the smallest way we'll surely make a difference. They are in desperate need of food this year.
Here are the details: The Food Bank of LFC provides nutritious food to non-profit organizations that feed the hungry in lower Fairfield County while seeking to raise awareness of, and promote action to combat hunger in those communities.
Their food supply is critically low, with the holidays fast approaching. Please help them fill the shelves of their warehouse so they can do what they do best, and get food to all the needy people in our communities that they serve. Today, less than one week from Thanksgiving, they are THOUSANDS of turkeys short of to meet the current needs of our community.
Consider doing a food drive at your place of business or congregation or talk to your kid's school and see if they can conduct one. If that's too much, just donate food on your own. The Food Bank believes that no family should go without a holiday dinner.
