The Duckie Derby

The Mill River is going to be a sea of yellow on Saturday during the annual Fairfield County Duckie Derby.

Over 1000 little rubber duckies will be released into the Mill River at 1:30 for a race to the finish line. Large sized rubber ducks will be decorated ahead of time and entered into the "Decorated Duck" contest. Trophies and prize ribbons will be awarded. Games, food, and two fuzzy, friendly duck mascots will be on hand to entertain the "young at heart". A $10 donation gets you and your family a race duck number. A $15 donation gets you a large rubber duck to decorate and enter into the Decorated Duck contest.

Saturday, May 21, 2011.
