Rooms with a View

Channel your inner design diva and plan to attend ROOMS with A View this weekend at the Southport Congregational Church. Each year 12 designers are invited to create 5x8 vignettes. The mini-rooms are staged in the library and great hall of the historic Southport Congregational Church in Southport.
This year’s theme, “The Next Generation” pays homage to the “Dean of American Design,” Albert Hadley, who was a founder of ROOMS with a View and has served as its hands-on honorary chairman. This year, Mr. Hadley, has influenced the Next generation of Designers who were personally recommended by last year's designers.

Preview Party, Thursday, Nov. 3 from 6:30 to 9:30 PM
Hours: Friday and Saturday, Nov. 4-5, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov 6, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Jeffrey Bilhuber hosts an evening of photos and stories from his 25 years of decorating experience. Jeffrey is one of a handful of preeminent American decorators who takes his design clues from understanding the importance of history while optimistically looking toward the future. With almost twenty-five years of decorating experience, Bilhuber has been published in more than 100 design books and featured in every major national and international shelter publication.
