Fairfield's Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration

Enjoy an old fashioned holiday night out this Friday while celebrating the lighting of Town's Tree at Town Hall. Gather with your family and countdown as the tallest living tree in Connecticut gets lit.

When: Friday, December 2

Where: Town Hall

Time: Choirs begin at 6:00 PM and Santa arrives at 7:00 PM.  

At 6:15 pm with the Fairfield Woods, Roger Ludlowe and Tomlinson Middle School Chamber Choir singing songs of the season. The Fairfield Warde Choral Group will also be performing. Enjoy some hot chocolate and free glow necklaces compliments of the Town Youth Council.

Following Fairfield’s annual tree lighting ceremony, warm up at the Fairfield Museum’s opening of the Holiday Express Train Show. Stroll down an illuminated path across the Town Green to delight in the magic of model trains winding around a spectacularly decorated tree and through beautiful holiday scenery. See collectibles, classic trains, modular dioramas and antique trains in this eye-popping holiday display. Special opening night admission: $3 per person.
