Get Your Flu Shot at the Library
The Fairfield Health Department is holding a seasonal flu clinic at the Fairfield Woods Branch Library on Monday December 12th from 11 AM-1 PM and at the Main Library on Thursday December 15th from 3 -5 PM. No appointment is necessary and the Flu shots are available for everyone 6 months and older and Flumist Intranasal Spray is available for healthy people between the ages of 2-49.

If you have the following insurance there is no charge for the vaccine:
Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Connecticare, Aetna and Medicare Part B. Please bring your insurance card with you. If you do not have one of those insurances, the cost of the flu shot or Flumist is $25.00. This is payable in cash, exact change only, or by check made out to "Town of Fairfield Health Department."

Please Note:
Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent.
Pregnant women will need to bring a note from their doctor to receive the vaccine.
Please wear short sleeves or sleeves that can be rolled up easily.
The CDC recommends a yearly flu vaccine for everyone 6 months and older as the first and most important step in protecting against flu viruses.
