Lights! Camera! Action! Mark your calendar to watch E.T. under the stars during an old-fashioned "drive-in" movie. The free showing of the Academy Award-winning family classic at Trinity Episcopal Church in Southport is on Saturday, August 25th.

Timed at the end of the summer and just before school starts, this free event is the first of its kind in the surrounding area. The movie, which will appear on a 15' x 20' screen, is Steven Spielberg’s classic American science fiction film that was a blockbuster, surpassing Star Wars to become the highest-grossing film of all time, a record it held for ten years. Critics acclaimed it as a timeless story of friendship. The film appeals to children of all ages.
Bring the pick-up, the station-wagon, minivan, or car, along with lawn chairs and the whole family for some old-fashioned fun.
