If rainy days and snow days get you down, Suzy advises you visit Playtime Village in Monroe.
A warehouse-like space for kids ages 7 and under. Tons of toys, dress-up clothes, trikes and an indoor playground set. There's a special area for babies in case you need to get out of the house. Moms can get a cup of coffee and read the paper while your kids run free (and safely).
Open 7 days a week. Pay the daily rate of $10 ($8 for 2nd child) or buy a longer membership. Don't forget the socks - it's a requirement for parents and kids. 380 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe (just up the Bridgeport connector), #445-8626

If 5 Moms walk into Playtime Village together as a Playgroup, each child is $7.50 plus 10% tax ($8.25 total) instead of $11. MOMS ARE FREE.
