The PTAs of the Fairfield Middle Schools are sponsoring a town-wide presentation by parenting education specialist Ellen Swan. The program will focus on issues such as emotional development, peer pressure, social life, risky behavior, media influences, and brain development. Ms. Swan, a former teacher and parent of three young adult children, holds multiple degrees in human development and family studies. The evening is open to the public and promises to be an interactive, lively program with specific suggestions, a booklist and take-away items.
