It's time again for One Book, One Town and the Fairfield Library has chosen The Invention of Hugo Cabret by Brian Selznick. This unique family book and winner of the 2007 Caldecott medal and National Book Award nominee, was on the New York Times Bestseller list for over 40 weeks.
Over 2000 people took part in last year's inaugural celebration featuring Three Cups of Tea by Greg Mortenson and David Oliver Relin. During the month of March 2009 many special events will take place throughout the Town of Fairfield, including a visit from author Brian Selznick on March 25th.
Pick up your copy of the book at the Fairfield Public Library, the Fairfield Woods Branch Library, the Pequot Library or Borders Books and Music.
