If you've never managed to get a reservation at Da Pietro's intimate Italian restaurant on Riverside Avenue in Westport, you've got a chance to try the chef's outstanding cooking at the stylish Zest in the basement of the historic Westport Trust & Bank Building.  Zest is open morning, noon and night.. so when you're looking for a place for that late lunch with a visiting friend or just tea with a galpal, this is the spot. Make sure you try the meatballs. At $2.95 apiece, it's a great deal for an appetizer that won't let you down.
