Suzy's loyal reader Molly reviews Tengda Asian Bistro in our regular feature "Reviewed by a Galpal.

After our second school open house in a row, my husband and I decided to take advantage of having a sitter and grab a quick meal.  We headed to Tengda in Westport.  We were greeted and seated outside as it was a lovely
night.  The service was very attentive and the menu is large.  We enjoyed a cocktail and discussed our order.  We started with edamame, which unfortunately was not as good as most, but still enjoyable.  For appetizers I ordered chicken lettuce wraps that were fantastic and my husband had the blackened tuna taco, which he said was unbelievably delicious.  We both ordered rolls for dinner - I had shrimp tempura and sweet potato (as I don't like raw) and they were good, not great, but good.  My husband ordered one of their specialty rolls.  The roll was drizzled with a mayonnaise based spicy sauce, that according to my husband was too spicy and took away from the sushi.

So, our honest opinion is, Tengda was good enough, but certainly not great.

Galpal Tip: I have had take out from there many times and can say the take out is better than eating in.
