Sweet Basil is the perfect place for a couple of galpals to head for a quick lunch. The Asian Fusion restaurant offer a $5.00 lunch which attracts people in droves. I met a friend there Friday and at 12:45 we had to wait for a table – not long, luckily. There were plenty to choose from for the $5.00 menu. We ordered vegetarian -- Eggplant in Garlic Sauce and Sesame Tofu. The food came out in a timely manner and was delicious! The complete menu has all the typical offerings at a Chinese restaurant, some Thai selections and plenty of sushi (two rolls, miso soup or salad for $8). There is a nice bar in the back of the restaurant as well. Sweet Basil has a very convenient location, great food and atmosphere and is a nice addition to town! I will definitely visit again.
