We're sure many of you have been to this grand dame of hot dog joints, but with Memorial Day around the corner we thought it might be a good idea to remind you about Rawley's.
A true roadside shack, next door to the DQ, serving up high cal hot dogs that even Martha Stewart has written about.
Each dog is first deep fried and then grilled to give it a delicious crunch. The buns are grilled and fixed with your choice of condiments. If you're feeling extra hungry, the "Works Dog" is a must.
Covered with mustard, relish, sauerkraut and crushed bacon, you might need a cardiologist when you're done.
Sides include thick crinkle cut fries and for drinks, we recommed the shakes.
If you're lucky you'll snag a seat in the small seating area in the back. Be sure to carve your initials on the wall or tables, they expect you to.
Suzy's kids names are there somewhere. Hopefully, they'll be coming back with their own kids someday to do the same. Rawley's will most definitely still be here!
