Yoga for the Itsy Bitsy Ones
Thursday, May 15, 2008

Just the cute name, Itsy Bitsy Yoga is enough to sign Suzy up.
For Toddlers and Preschoolers (18 months to 5 year old child)
Saturdays 9:30 – 10:15AM 6 sessions
May 17, 24, June 7, 14, 21, 28
The classes are a unique blend of yoga-based postures and games, developmental movement exercises and playful rhymes created to increase parent-child bonding, improve gross and fine motor development for school readiness and promote a healthy lifestyle for families with young children.
Studies show that young kids learn best through play and need at least 30 minutes of structured physical activity each day. There's no better way to engage your child than through the simple practice of yoga.
Yoga can help your child have:
Fewer tantrums
Better self-expression
Better and longer sleep
Higher self-esteem
Increased motor coordination
Easier relaxation
Improved listening and ability to follow direction
A healthy and physically fit lifestyle
Fee: $120 plus one time registration/material fee of $30 (Includes Child and Parent)
Mazie Zdanowich was trained and certified to teach Itsy Bitsy Yoga by Helen Garabedian, founder of Itsy Bitsy Yoga, a certified infant developmental movement educator and named the "Baby Yoga Expert" by Newsweek.
