In her quest to find the perfect toddler shoe, Suzy's been reading that stride rite conducted extensive research with New York 's Hospital for Special Surgery to develop their new Sensory Response Technology (SRT) collection. In the course of their research they found that babies' first steps shape their gait for the rest of their life. As a result, they created SRT collection to improve the way a baby learns to walk via a sensory feedback system, a flexible design that allows for more freedom of movement, and a unique construction that reduces stumbles and falls.
Suzy decided to try them out on her little two year old boy who never stops moving and found that they are flexible, but durable with a lot more "give" than sneakers making them extra comfy to wear. The best part of the new SRT'S is that they stay on his feet! He can't rip the Velcro off like he does on his sneakers or sandals. The quality is great and worth the $50 price tag.
The collection is available at stride rites stores, finer department stores and striderite.com.
