This month,
Jazz House Kids' new Jazz House will open in downtown Montclair at 14 South Park Street, 2nd floor (sharing space with Sharon Miller). Children and adults from Montclair and the surrounding communities will have access to top-of-the-line jazz instruction and music programming. The new Jazz House will offer group instruction, ensemble playing, beginner classes, an adult jazz band, as well as a children's concert series and vocal classes. Students will have an opportunity to learn key skills such as improvisation, theory and composition.
Here's the class schedule to date:Teen Town Jazz Tuesdays, 7:00 0- 8:30 pm
A fun performance ensemble experience for beginner musicians.
JazzCats Thursdays, 7:00 - 8:30 pm
Intermediate musicians (recommended by instructor) form a performance ensemble focusing on jazz improvisation.

Brass & woodwind classes
Rhythm section workshops
Vocal workshops and choir
Adult jazz band
