Much Ado About Nothing
WHAT: In honor of Rockland Community College’s 50th Anniversary, its resident Rockland Shakespeare Company – four-time nominee for Arts Council of Rockland (ACOR) award for Best Arts Organization – will present one of Shakespeare’s most beloved comedies, “Much Ado About Nothing.” The audience will enjoy the Shakespearean comedic trademarks—beautiful and witty heroes and heroines, traitorous and deceitful villains and misunderstood lovers. Directed by Patricia Maloney-Titland and Christopher Plummer. RCC and the campus courtyard is fully wheelchair accessible and includes free parking.
WHEN: Performances July 9, 10, 16, 17 and 18 at 7:00 pm.
WHERE: Amphitheater Courtyard at Rockland Community College -- Bring blankets, chairs and a picnic dinner.
COST: FREE AND OPEN TO ALL

Showtime Classic
WHAT: The 6th Annual Showtime Classic Basketball Tourney in memory of Travis "TAZ" White. This annual event's motto is "Unity equals strength" and features free food and games for kids. To participate in the tourney, go to Trendsetters located at 38 S Franklin Street in Nyack and register. The rule is you have to register before the day of the event.
WHEN: Sunday, July 11th at 11:00 am
WHERE: Nyack's Memorial Park down by the waterfront on Piermont Avenue
COST: FREE to watch; there is a charge to participate and play in the tournament

WHAT: Come check out Larry Siegel on the New City Library lawn for singing and dancing. Don't forget to bring blankets and lawn chairs.
