Halloween and more Halloween...

This weekend brings the first Halloween on a Saturday in quite some time... the weekend abounds with lots of Halloween fun...
On Saturday, 10/31, cruise to the Ramapo Equestrian Center for the Ramapo 4H Halloween Haunt featuring a haunted house, a haunted hike to the Graveyard, games, trick or treat from the horses, a costume content, pumpkin painting and refreshments. All ages welcome. Runs from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.
Also, on Saturday, head to Nyack for the Nyack Chamber's Famous Halloween Parade. Family-oriented!!! Gather in Memorial Park for marchers at 4:00 pm, for Spectators, the parade steps off at 5:30 pm. Features marching bands, costumed revelers and tons of spectators. Prizes for best float, best adults costume and best child's costume. Parade is held rain or shine and restaurants will be open afterwards with music and fun.
Our friends at Casa del Sol have their 13th Annual Casa Costume Contest right after the parade. Lots of dinner and drink specials, raffles/give-aways.. check it out.
