Some Ideas for the Weekend Ahead...
This weekend, Suzy has a few picks, but before we get to the weekend stuff.

Suzy's galpals have been kind enough to remind us that everyone should remember that Tuesday, 11/3 is Election Day and there are tons of local races for County Executive to local Mayoral contests so in the spirit of supporting community make sure you exercise your right and get out and vote to make a difference.

On Saturday, 11/7, head to the Hopper House Art Center on Broadway in Nyack for the Family Sing-Along Mini Concert with Sukey Molloy & Friends.  The concert is best for ages 2 through 6 with an adult.  Sukey will sing original and traditional songs getting everyone moving and singing right along.  Reserve your tickets today -- $10 adults, $5 children.  Tickets in advance or at the door but remember space is limited.  Call 845-353-2268 or email info@playmovesing.com.

On Saturday, 11/7, Home Depot hosts their Monthly Kids Workshops.  They are designed for children ages 5-12.  Check your local store for time but they typically run between 9 and noon on the first Saturday of the month.

If you can stand it, Santa arrives on Saturday at the Palisades Center mall.  Yes, you read correctly, Santa is arriving at the mall in early November -- they aren't even waiting until Thanksgiving this year.  H&M Court, Level 1.

Finally, for some theatrics, check out a modern interpretation of Much Ado About Nothing at the Palisades Presbyterian Church staged by local high school students who participate in the Children's Shakespeare Theatre.  Performances are Nov 6, 7, 13 and 14 at 8pm and Nov 14 at 2pm.  Tickets are $12, $10 for seniors and $8 for children.  Performance features a soundtrack including songs by Foreigner, Earth, Wind and Fire, and Donna Summer.  Palisades Presbyterian Church is located at 177 Washington Spring Rd, Palisades, NY.
