Music Festival Hits Piermont
The Turning Point Cafe in Piermont puts on the American Roots Outdoor Festival on Monday, September 7th.  Tickets are $15 for adults, kids under 11 are free (so no need to get a ticket for them).  Bring your blanket or lawnchair and help raise funds for the Piermont Police Athletic League (PAL).  Food and refreshments will be available for sale.  No ALCOHOL allowed as this is a child-friendly event.   The festival takes place at Goswick Pavillion/Rittenberg Field located on Ferry Rd which is the road that leads to the Pier in Piermont.  Parking will be available in lot D.  

Acts scheduled to appear include Alexis P. Suter Band, Aztec Two Step, Red Molly, Upsouth Twisters and Root Cellar (Jennie McAvoy, Pat & Tex LaMountain).

Gates open at 12:00.  Festival should be finished by 5:30.
