Looking for somewhere different to escape to this weekend?  Or any weekend for that matter.  One of Suzy's favorite places is New Hope, PA.  Whether for a romantic getaway or just a change of pace, with or without the little ones, there is plenty to do and see.

As you travel on Main st there is a plethora of galleries, artisan shops, antiques and lots and lots of restaurants.  Our picks for food are Mothers, which has been there FOREVER, like back when Suzy was in camp, WildFlowers for sitting outside, Lambertville Station for a "nice" meal inside an old railway house, and The Landing.

In nearby towns Lambertville and Lahaska there is even more to see startng with the Sand Castle Winery and Peddlers Village.

Lots of B&B's to be had that are fabulous and the best breakfast you're gonna get.  Don't search too hard for a facny name hotel - you wont find one, instead choose from lots of "Inns" and "Houses", to keep it quaint and inexpensive.

If after all the fun stuff to do, you still have time to kill, check out the tubing scene on the Delware River Gap, not far away, but we recommend waiting til its a wee bit warmer outside!
