Come one, come all! Experience a cavalcade of creativity!
WHAT: Animals & Acrobats is Westchester's most exciting Memorial Day Weekend family event. Capturing the fun of an early American traveling circus, Ringmaster Jonathan Kruk leads a cast of clever characters on a stage in the round! The event starts on May 29th and runs through May 31st from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
The event includes continuous performances throughout the weekend. Performers include:
A Different Spin -- Formed at Vassar College, this group is dedicated to spreading the magic of the circus far and wide. Fire juggling, daring acrobatics, and comedy are all part of the act.
Two by Two Zoo -- This conservation group educates the public about fascinating wildlife. Hopping kangaroos, fl ying lemurs, hilarious monkeys, pythons, parrots, and goats are some of the traveling stars!
Flight of the Raptor -- Birds of prey demonstrations.
The Invisible Lady -- Experience the unexplained! Ask your questions and the Invisible Lady will tell you the correct answers. Be amazed as this ethereal spirit is able to magically “see” and describe you!
Bells & Motley-- Storytelling, dance, and olden music featuring a hurdy-gurdy. Get into the grooooove!
Plus tumbling acrobats, tightrope walkers, jugglers, magicians, fortune-tellers, mimes, storytellers, horse-drawn wagon rides, music, and more! Animals & Acrobats is especially popular with children. Picnic fare, treats, and beverages will be available.
