The baseball season is in full swing and the ladies of the NY Liberty have hit the court. Why not take the family out to one of the minor league ballparks close by that offer really great deals? The details on some promos and how to pick up the tix below.
Kraft Singles has a pretty cool deal that applies on any Tuesday night game at any minor league baseball park in this area. Confirm the details here but if you bring a KRAFT singles package wrapper to the ballpark box office, you can buy one ticket and get another one free.
So here's the rundown on the area teams...
The Staten Island Yankees play in a place called well, Staten Island and offer some fun events for the family. You can by single game tickets for as little as $12 and wait, you can upgrade and pay $16 a ticket and get access to all-you-can-eat hot dogs, hamburgers, grilled chicken sandwiches, soda and water and you'll receive a limited edition SI Yankees cap with each ticket. The catch is you have to buy 10 tickets but take 2 families to the game and you probably have enough people.
The Brooklyn Cyclones play right off the Coney Island Boardwalk so why not take in a game and walk the boardwalk, grab some Nathan's... The most expensive ticket is $15 and the cheapest seat is $8. They have tons of cool promos at KeySpan Park and at some games the kids get to run the bases after the game. Too cool. Check out their calendar for the details. Oh, and moms, they have a Bellies and Baseball promo by Palmer's for pregnant moms on July 19th. Run the bases with no shoes on before the game, check out the crave station, pre-game lamaze classes and if anyone delivers at the park, well you get free Cyclones Season Tickets for life... or if you agree to name your child Brooklyn or Cy. Come on, Posh and Becks did it!
The Hudson Valley Renegades play in Wappingers Falls about an hour from here... Tickets can be had for as little as $5 to about $12 for behind the plate and yes, ladies, there is a promo for you. On July 7th, there is Ladies Night when the HV Renegades take on the Staten Island Yankees -- no men allowed in the park until after the 5th inning!! Come on, really!!!
