Meet the new hybrid.
First there was cloth, then came disposable, and now allow Suzy to introduce the "g" diaper!
Suzy had a brief moment while expecting her daughter, when she thought she could do cloth diapers. (Must have been hormonal!) Then, thank goodness, she came to her senses and found the new hybrid. gDiapers are adorable cloth shells that house a plastic lining (easily snapped in) with a flushable insert. One of the many perks, you can buy them online and set yourself up for a regular delivery. They will just show-up at your door when you are beginning to run out. You can also check the website for a retailer near you...usually Whole Foods or Wild Oats will carry them. Suzy did take the time to run the numbers before she started her little "G" journey and found that they were comparable to buying disposable diapers.

G's are Great for so many reasons:
gDiapers have no elemental chlorine, no perfumes, no smell, no garbage and no guilt.
gDiapers puts waste where it belongs, in the toilet. Not the landfill. Yep, no landfill required. 50 million disposable diapers enter the landfill every day, where they sit for up to 500 years. And that's just the beginning. These flushable diapers are so gentle on the Earth you can even garden compost the wet ones in one compost cycle, approximately 50 – 150 days. Just think of the standing ovation you'll get from the planet.
gDiapers are breathable. Plastic-free flushable refills keep your little one dry and happy, so they're less likely to get diaper rash.

Celebs like Julia are on board. She found the gDiapers after Finn and Hazel. So, Henry is running around with his little G's on!
These are not a lot of work but they are a commitment. The site is full of information and quick tutorials. Click here to watch gDiaper 101!
SUZY SIDE DISH: If you are a new mama you may be better to wait until things settle down a little. Suzy found these to be easier after the first few months. Things are a little explosive in those early weeks - in more ways than one!
