The Helen Hayes Hospital Foundation will host a Tea Time at Pretty Penny, the Hudson River estate in Nyack where actress Helen Hayes MacArthur lived for many years.
The event is a fundraiser for the foundation, which supports programs and services at the physical rehabilitation hospital in West Haverstraw. It will be held from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. August 29.
Guests will be treated to tours of the home and its magnificent gardens. Tea will be served in the parlor, consisting of sandwiches, confections and an array of teas. The event will also feature a presentation by recording artist and inspirational speaker DeDe Murcer Moffett.
