MMMMMarshmallow Fluff Fudgy Fun
Welcome Emily Jed, another new contributor to Suzy.  She is a mom on the go and will be bringing Suzy's galpals some great family activities.  Everything from outdoor excursions, to crafts to super simple foodie stuff like the below fudge.  Please welcome her with open arms!

All of us busy moms are running short on time and on cash with the final holiday countdown fast upon us. And it seems the list of last-minute "token" gifts keeps getting longer rather than shorter! My kids and I tried the quick and easy fudge recipe on the back of the marshmallow Fluff bottle and whipped up a delectable last-minute gift for teachers, party hostesses, babysitters and grandmas & grandpas.

The one-pot recipe is fun and fool-proof and takes all of ten minutes from start to finish. They'll be oohing and ahhing over the rich, creamy fudge (as good as you get at the Jersey Shore!). And the TLC you and the kids put into making it will warm their hearts far more than a store-bought trinket.

Top your fudge with festive red and green sprinkles or dust it with coconut flakes for a wintery touch. Pack it in a tin or wrap it in colorful cellophane and pop a bow on top – one batch makes several gifts worth!

Never-Fail-Fudge
2 1/2 c. sugar
* 3/4 tsp. salt
* 1/2 stick butter or margarine
* 1 5 oz. can evaporated milk (2/3 c.)
* 1 Jar (7 1/2oz) Marshmallow Fluff
* 3/4 tsp. vanilla
* 1 12-oz. package semi-sweet chocolate pieces
* 1 /2 c. chopped walnuts (optional)

Grease a 9-inch square baking pan; set aside. In large saucepan combine the first 5 ingredients. Stir over low heat until blended. Increase heat to Medium and bring to a full-rolling boil being careful not to mistake escaping air bubbles for boiling. Boil slowly, stirring constantly for 5 minutes (use Soft-Ball test). Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and chocolate until chocolate is melted. Add nuts. Turn into greased pan and cool. Makes 2 1/2 pounds.
