Discovering Simply the Best Colleges with Your Teen!,  Step 4 (of 5)
Step 4: Decide

This is the moment your teen has been waiting for!  Prepared, with information in hand,  about who your teen is needs, wants, strengths, challenges, interests the parameters of the decisions, costs of the various colleges, distance from home, the role of financial aid what the colleges have to offer, values, departments, majors, minors, type of curriculum, study abroad, internships, special services, extracurriculars, financial aid/scholarships.

It’s time to decide which schools are the best matches. Which colleges meet your teen’s criteria?  Where can your daughter or son achieve both academic and personal goals?  Is your teen absolutely, positively passionate one school... so much so that Early Decision or Early Action is the course to pursue?  These decisions are made with the head and the heart.

Help your teen!   Don’t let your child fall prey to the frenzy that’s been created about getting into college.  There’s no question that there’s competition, but finding the colleges that are the best matches increases the likelihood of acceptance.  It’s a great time for you to play the role of sounding board... the decisions need to be your teen’s.
