This will be the first of many entries of Suzy's endeavour to start getting fit. With the help of our new buds Kevin and Michael over at Fitness Together, we are getting our butt kicked weekly to become buff by, well, whenever we can. It's never to late to start getting in shape, even though it seems as if the summer is already half over and school isnt even out yet!
So we put a plan together that works for my schedule, but still keeps me acountable to Kevin and his boys consistently. I will be updating everyone weekly on the butt kicking (ok really it is awesome, but i defnitely hurt the next day, but thats good right?) as well as adding some helpful hints, nutrition info, recipes and anything else relevant to keep on living that healthy lifestyle that everyone strives for.
I have had 4 sessions so far, with 3 different trainers, all of which are radically unique in thier ways and motivation. I don't think I repeated the same move / action twice, variety is the key. Each session comes with your own towel (no more forgetting to bring one from home) and a bottle of water - woo hoo. You are also encouraged (or told as i was this morning, nicely i might add) to stay for a short cardio session afterward on the elliptical or treadmill. All in all it is a comprehensive endeavour with physical, mental and nutrition points all touched upon.
