Did you see Suzy out at the Nyack Street Fair this past weekend? It was Hot Hot Hot, but we perservered and met lots of nice people. We also discovered some really kick a** booths with great wares to share, so we are sharing with our galpals. These are all great gift ideas or just for your own kiddos.....And we are all about Handmade, as these homegrown businesses are rapidly losing out to the big guys, so next time you need something check out these 4 and tell them Suzy Sent you.
Got a Baby Shower coming up? Or a newborn party? Go to Diaper Productions and check out their Hand Baked Diaper cakes. The cupcake cake is a great add on for another gift for $5, and the Decorated or Frosted cakes are resonably priced, cute and fully customizable. Suzy's seen these around on various other sites, but you cant beat these prices. Call ahead and order and pick it up at the next street fair they participate in to save on shipping!

At The Lenti Zoo you will find the most adorable, soft and cuddly hoodie bath towels around. Suzy is getting a Dino one for her toddler, but there are over 30 creatures to choose from and you can request something special as well. All individually handmade, no 2 are alike, complete with all necessary detail, no tails, wings or ears are left out. Check out the (happy) moster collection while you are on the sit (similar to the Ugly Dolls but cooler and cheaper), we got one and its eyes, mouth and heart adornment glow in the dark, perfect for a kid who is afraid of monsters AND the dark.
Laura and Scott of Go Fish have the cutest handpainted mirrors, boxes and door signs. We are lovin the Pirate and Superhero ones, but you can request a custom theme if you dont see anything that floats your boat.
