Thai for 2
Lemon Grass Thai Restaurant located in New City offers a low key atmosphere with classic Thai offerings.

Suzy took full advantage of this for date night with the hubby.  I had been here once before, but now i remembered why i need to go back more often!

Our meal started with a Thai version of wonton soup and spring rolls. Once our appetizers arrived our first surprise was the number of spring rolls that you get for a very reasonable price. We had a least 7 or 8 rolls of good size. Perfectly crisp on the outside, the rolls were stuffed with rice noodles and wide variety of vegetables and paired with a sweet chili sauce that was a great balance of sweet and spicy. The wonton soup was equally as good, served in a large cup like bowl the soup was hearty with plenty of dumplings and a vegetable based broth.

For entrees we had the Mango Curry and Pad Thai. The Mango Curry was sweet and savory with just enough kick to feel it but not overpowering as is the case in many curry dishes. Comprised of a wide variety of vegetables, chicken, shrimp, and a healthy dose of fresh mango the Mango Curry was a very satisfying meal. The Pad Thai was an equally tasty dish and easily one of the best versions of this dish I've had. The noodles were cooked to perfection with generous amounts of chicken, bean spouts and peanuts. With a little lime on top this makes for a great value.

Overall Lemon Grass proved to be a great value with equal parts of great food, generous portions, and excellent service.
