SuzySaid - Rockland County, NY Edition

Suzy has always heard of a great little shop in New City with gourmet sandwiches and salads and wraps and soups.  Suzy cruised by the other day to discover the Drop By Gourmet located at 40 South Main St. in New City (entrance on Demarest Avenue).  There are healthy sandwich choices on whole wheat and multi grain bread or more indulgent choices like Black Forest Ham and Goat Cheese with roasted red peppers, arugula and dijon on Italian Bread or how about a Melted Brie with Raspberry Preserves and Walnuts on a Croissant.  Suzy had the Cape Cod wrap when she was there -- what could be bad about Smoked Turkey, Brie, Dried Cranberries, Pecans, and Arugula with Balsamic Vinagrette. They are primarily open for lunch Monday - Thursday from 10-6, Friday 10-5 and Saturday 10-4.  They are available by appointment on Sundays.
