The Rye Library is pleased to share Places to Go, People to Meet running from May 12 - June 29 with the Artist's Reception, Saturday, June 4, 2-4 pm.
The artist, Sally Tobin, who enjoys traveling, exhibits paintings of scenes and people from around the world. A Rye native, she has been practicing her art since excelling in finger painting in nursery school and holds a degree in Studio Art from Mount Holyoke College. After leaving a career in illustration and computer graphics to raise a family, she turned to watercolors and has a thriving business in painting portraits of houses, boats and pets.
