Rye High School Performs GREASE

Rye High School’s Parson Street Players are at it again! Just weeks after performing URINETOWN the Musical, to sold-out audiences, On Friday, April 8th and Saturday April 9th, 2011 The Parsons Street Players will present GREASE at the Performing Arts Center.
GREASE had its debut on Broadway in 1972 and by 1979 was the longest running musical in Broadway history. GREASE is an irresistible mix of adolescent angst, vibrant physicality and 1950’s pop culture. The rousing musical numbers include Greased Lightnin’, We Go Together and Summer Lovin’. The show is directed by Peter Green and choreographed by Jimmy Locust who received rave reviews for choreographing URINETOWN the Musical.
Performances are Friday April 8th at 8pm and Saturday, April 9th at 2pm and 8pm. Tickets are available at the door. Adults $10, students $5 and senior citizens are free.
