Rye Historical Society Spring Break Activities
Did you ever want to learn how to bake Boston Brown Bread, or make homemade root beer? What about writing letters with a quill pen and making your own wax seal to close them up? During the Square House Museum’s spring Yankee Doodle Arts & Crafts Workshops, children ages 7-11 will have fun and creative projects that will transport them back to the era of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and John Adams.

Workshop days will be Tuesday, April 19 – Thursday, April 21, from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. The cost for the program is $60 for all three days or $25 for any individual day. Students should bring a bagged lunch, snacks will be provided. Reservations are suggested as space is limited and can be made by calling the Rye Historical Society at (914) 967-7588.

The Square House Museum is open Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and Saturday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. For more information, please call (914) 967-7588 or visit the website, Rye Historical Society.
