Artsy Teens
Suzy heard about a great program that exposes teenagers to the arts.  It's called High 5, and if you'd like to find an inexpensive way to take advantage of all that NYC has to offer, this is for you.

Through High 5, any teen between the ages of 13-18 years old may buy $5 tickets to hundreds of New York's best dance, music, theater, film, museum and spoken word events year-round.

All it takes is $5 and a valid form of ID that displays the teen's age such as a license, student ID or even a report card. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster which has graciously agreed to waive the service fees for High 5 purchases.  Parents tagging along?  No problem, each teen can purchase one additional $5 ticket for parents, siblings or friends.

For museum buffs, the deal is even sweeter with 2-for-1 deals.  Thinking of taking a group of teens to an event?  High 5 has a group rate called Take 5 which lets 6 teens in for the price of 5.  There's a sweet deal!

For more information, visit the High 5 website.
